It’s time for a little…
This is the moment at the end of the week when we exhale, smile, and cherish all the significant and small moments when we showed up with grace.
The times we were brave, vulnerable, kind, quiet, rebellious, patient, strong, loving, or all of the above.
This week, we’re celebrating the surprising power of 10 minutes of time.
Yeah, just 10 minutes.
To go from a ho-hum and uninspired to optimistic and accomplishing.
Let me explain.
Today has been one of those days.
You know, the kind where every decision feels particularly difficult because you’re not sure what you want or need or how you feel.
I’d been stalled out all morning.
Incapable of finishing any task to completion.
Sitting for long periods of time, wondering what to do next.
A LOT of procrastinating.
Then, my business mentor's email included a survey question asking me to reflect on what I was most proud of in the last three months.
I wrote down one thing. Then another. And another.
Before I knew it, ten whole minutes had passed, and I filled the page with moments, completed projects, wins, and highlights from the last 90 days - all things I had done that I was incredibly proud of.
After re-reading the long list, I immediately noticed the shift inside me.
I had just inspired myself.
I suddenly wanted to do more.
To decide.
And complete things.
The ho-hum feeling was passing.
And it was being replaced with accomplishment and inspiration.
I cannot believe how fast it happened.
How much better I felt.
And how much I’ve done since I answered that simple question hours ago.
10 minutes.
That’s it.
Need a quick mental boost before the weekend?
Take 10 minutes to be inspired by you.
I promise it will change everything.
Cue the music, celebrate yourself, and have an amazing weekend.
With love,
